At the early age of four, Derek starting in singing public.  In August of 2000, Derek came to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.  By the age of 14 he recorded his first project and his ministry was just beginning.  Now Derek has now joined the Church House Music family for his new recording, American Christian.  “God has blessed me with his grace and a fine family which includes my two siblings, which both love to sing with me.  I pray and hope to have a trio some day.  I have had numerous opportunities to sing and share what God has and can do for other, the last 3 years.  I intend to keep doing so until Jesus comes or calls me home.  I am singing to serve the Lord.”
